The Cone 4/6 Ash glazes are all lead-free, dinnerware safe, and A/P non-toxic. The ash glazes are not designed to cover the entire surface. Instead they are intended to be used in a single coat on the top or rim of vertical surfaces and allowed to run and intermix its other glazes on the piece and create exciting and fascinating color variations and effects.
