The Cone Art Kiln BX2827D is a true production kiln that has been designed to fire easily to cone 10 even with high mass loads like tiles.
It is a double insulated kiln with 2.5 " of premium firebrick plus 1" of block insulation. This extra thick wall insulation ensures a cooler, safer jacket that can save approximately 30% in electricity costs. It also gives longer element life since the elements don't have to work so hard.
Heavy-duty Kanthal A-1 elements are installed in the walls and floor for perfectly even firings.
The Bartlett Controller comes with 3 Zone Control at NO EXTRA CHARGE which is mounted on an angled easy view panel.
